Sandwich panels

The sandwich construction method is a form of lightweight and is nowadays often used in facades, loading floors, panels in refrigerated vehicles or interior parts in railway vehicles. Typically, a sandwich panel is made of two solid cover layers (CFRP, GFRP, Alu, etc.) and a light core (foam, metal foam, paper honeycomb, etc.). The cover layers and the core can be bonded with adhesives. Conventional adhesive systems like PU do often not meet the requirements, especially when high temperature resistances and high strength are essential. For this application, Kisling offers a wide range of structural adhesives.
